Pastors Conduct Interface Seminar

An Interface seminar was organized last November 21 for the Butuan Evangelical Ministers’ Association (BEMA), in Butuan City, Philippines. Thirty-six pastors and leaders joined this momentous event which was facilitated by three of their fellow pastors in BEMA, who themselves went through the Interface seminar earlier.

It was a unique Interface seminar because it was organized by pastors and facilitated by pastors. Many were inspired and challenged on the importance of developing missional churches. At the end of the sessions, the facilitators asked the participants to process what they have learned from the seminar with discussions on the primary role of pastors and identifying ways of communicating the Interface paradigms in their churches, especially the paradigms of living a life on mission with God and every believer is a minister.

Here are some feedback from the participants:

‘Excellent, transforming and relevant! I am challenged to lead God’s people to be actively involved in living a life on mission with God.’

‘This seminar is relevant and awakening! I would like my church to be a missional church and for me to be intentional in raising pastors also that are missional.’

‘My highlight was learning that God’s pathway for our maturity is through missions. I hope to put equipping pathways and training in our church, so all our members are released to be on mission with God.’
